phatcat213: Colonial Heights, VA, United States; Not much to say about me. I am a local tractor trailer driver in the Richmond,Va. area. Born in '56 so I have some grey hair’s. When I was younger my parent’s sent me to school in England so I got to fly a lot. My very first flight was from Boston to Madrid then I transferred to another plane and flew to Gibraltar. Wow! I thought we were going to land in the water. That is what really sparked my interest in flying. Later in life I went to work for a tire company and one of the mechanics was also an AP mechanic and an flight instructor. Well needless to say we became friends and I was able to go to the airport and hang out some and I actually have 10 hours of flying time in an old Cessna 172. Then love and marriage comes along (twice) and three great kids and as of now seven grand kids later at least I can fly on my PC.
